JewishLearning Works and the Jewish Community Library in San Francisco, in conjunction with The Philip Roth Society, are sponsoring a series of events on Philip Roth. On March 31, they are hosting "Excavating Philip Roth: Reflections on a Biography's Beginnings with Steve Zipperstein." On April 4, Shaina Hammerman will give a talk on "Gendering Jewish Anxiety with Grace Paley and Philip Roth." And on June 2 there will be a roundtable discussing Roth's legacy, "One Bay One Boo
