

2026 Siegel/McDaniel Award Winner
The Philip Roth Society is pleased to announce the winner of the 2026 Siegel/McDaniel Award recipient, Ariel Horowitz. Ariel is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Comparative Literature at Stanford University. Philip Roth and Europe Symposium
On March 20, 2026, a day after Roth's 93rd birthday, we celebrated him at Trieste during the symposium Philip Roth and Europe. We had three different panels. The first one was dedicated to "Roth in Prague," and was moderated by Debra Shostak, with presentations by Aimee Pozorski, David Brauner, and Maggie McKinley.
