Siegel McDaniel Winner Named
Congratulations to this year's Siegel McDaniel Award winner, Daniel Dufournaud. His excellent essay, "Upward Mobility and Zuckerman's (Negative) Dialectics in I Married a Communist," won the prize in a year that saw an abundance of exceptionally strong entries. Daniel Dufournaud is a PhD candidate at York University, Toronto. His dissertation looks at contemporary American literature that responds to the social and economic conditions of neoliberalism. Congratulations to Daniel, and we liked to extend our thanks to everyone who submitted to this year's competition!
